Day 1: Arrival and Check in at your hotel.

Arrival at Cairo International Airport, assistance with luggage and transfer to your hotel by a private car with air conditioning. You will be assisted by our representative for check-in.

Overnight in Cairo.

 

Day 2: Egyptian Museum, Great Pyramids, The Sphinx and Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

Breakfast at your hotel. Start your holidays in Egypt visiting the Egyptian Museum of antiquities. It displays the largest and most precious items of the Egyptian art in the world.
It exhibits a rare collection of over 250,000 genuine artifacts that date as far back as 5000 years, including an exclusive exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamon – A collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry that were burried in his tomb for over 3,500 years before they were discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated.

Visit the Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerinos and have a close-up look at the Sphinx – The legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with its lion body and the head of king Chephren.

Visit the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. The inumerous shops in this district are known for trading fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques and much more.

Transfer to the train station for your overnight sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner is provided on the train.

Optional not included: Felucca trip on the Nile (at sunset).
Take a relaxing ride down the Nile on a felucca, a traditional Egyptian sailing boat, and see a different side of Cairo. This one hour ride gives you plenty of time to experience this unique mode of transport and enjoy the beautiful Egyptian sunset.

Day 3: High Dam and Philae Temple.

Breakfast on the train. Arrival, meet & assist by our representative. Transfer to yout hotel.

Start your full day tour visiting the High Dam & Philae Temple on a felucca ride (Egyptian sailboat) to the Island of Agilkia. The temple was removed from its original island of Philae (Now it is submerged by the waters of Lake Nasser during most times in the year). There also lies the Temple of Isis and its monuments that were built between the 26th dynasty and the Roman period.

Return to the mainland and drive to Aswan, having the chance to visit the High Dam (Completed in 1964), from here you can gaze across the Lake Nasser.

Day 4: Free day in Aswan.

Breakfast at your hotel.

Optional not included: Visit the Temple of Abu Simbel.
Abul Simbel was built by Ramses II during the 19th dynasty. It is one of the glories of the ancient Egyptian monuments and it was saved from the inundation of the Nile waters. The temple is built out of a sandstone and it has depicted deities carved on its huge facade. Nearby lies a small temple of the king’s wife, Nefertari,and it was dedicated to the goddess Hathor.

Optional not included: Full day tour to the Nubian Museum.
The Nubian Museum was opened in 1997 and it displays thousands of antiquities that would have been lost under the waters of Lake Nasser. This museum takes its name from the ancient Egyptian Nbu (Gold), reffering to the area’s famous gold mines.

Day 5: Valley of the Kings, Colossal of Memnon and Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

Breakfast at your hotel and transfer to Luxor by train.

Arrival in Luxor, meet and assist by our local representative. Transfer to your hotel.

Start your full day tour visiting the West Bank. Drive to the Valley of Kings and visit the tombs of pharaohs of different dynasties and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir El Bahari). On the way back, visit the Colossal of Memnon, the two gigantic sitting statues that represent Amenophis III facing the Nile.

Overnight in Luxor.

Day 6: Free day in Luxor.

Breakfast at your hotel. Disembark

Free day.

In the evening we will transfer you to the train station for your overnight sleeper train to Cairo. Dinner is provided on the train.

Optional not included: Luxor Temple & Karnak Temple.
At Luxor Temple gaze at its courtyard and the amazing granite statues of Ramses II. With a choice of carriage or bus go to the Karnak Temple, a large complex with a series of temples that were built in different reigns. Start at the avenue of sphinxes and visit the unfinished propylon, the hypostyle hall and its 134 gigantic columns, the obelisks of queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis III, the temple of Amon, beautifully adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the granite scarb of Amenophis III and the sacred lake.

Optional not included: Hot air balloon ride.
If you want to make your stay in Luxor unforgettable, hop on a hot air ballon and drift peacefully over the Valley of Kings, Valley of the Queens and the Mountain on the Nobles.

Day 7: Memphis, Sakkara and Old Cairo

Breakfast on the train. Arrival in Cairo, meet & assist by our local representative and transfer to your hotel.

Start your full day tour visiting Sakkara, located only 27 km southwest away from Cairo.
Visit the Step Pyramid (Built for king Zoser), it is considered an important part in the process of the pyramid evolution, which were made from the simple mastaba to its widely known form. Then visit to the pyramids of Unas & Oser-Kaf, the tomb of Mereruka, Ti & Pta-Hotep (Carved and painted tombs).

Visit Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, where the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx are. Then visit the old part of Cairo, the Church of Abu-Sergah and
St. Barbara, the hanging church, and the old jewish synagogue – Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Overnight in Cairo.

Optional not included: Dinner cruise on the Nile.
Enjoy your dinner on a cruise ship, gliding through the waters of the Nile, while watching a belly dancing and tanura show.

Optional not included: Cairo by night.

Day 8: Check-out and transfer to the airpot.

Breakfast and check-out at your hotel in Cairo. Meet our representative who will transfer you to the Cairo International Airport.
